B2B e-invoicing in Germany requires structured EN 16931 data — XRechnung XML for public buyers, ZUGFeRD/Factur-X hybrid for many B2B cases.

Steps

Start from Invoice Template — fill seller, buyer and line items.
Validate buyer Leitweg-ID for public-sector contracts.
Run XRechnung Validator on exported XML — fix BR-DE errors.
For hybrid PDF, validate ZUGFeRD embedded XML with ZUGFeRD Validator.
Submit via buyer portal — retain validated XML/PDF for audit.
