Yes. Set an optional password before uploading. Recipients must enter it to download.

Do I need an account?

No. Upload and download work without registration.

Is this GDPR-friendly?

Files are kept only for the chosen TTL and then deleted. We recommend not uploading highly sensitive personal data; see the privacy policy for legal details. You remain responsible for what you share.

Are files uploaded to a server?

Yes. Upload stores the file temporarily on Tentaco’s server so recipients can download it via the share link. This is intentional — unlike Tentaco’s local-only tools.

How long is the link valid?

You can choose 1, 6, 24 or 72 hours. After that the file is deleted automatically. The default is 6 hours.

What is the maximum file size?

100 MB per upload.
